InterVarsity Christian Fellowship is a parachurch organization with a vision to see students and faculty transformed, campuses renewed, and world changers developed.

This campus ministry organization has officially been reaching out to university students since 1941 when the first chapter was planted at the University of Michigan. But the roots of this ministry go back to the University of Cambridge in England back in 1877.

Today, IV has more than 1,000 staff serving over 40,000 students on approximately 700 campuses nationwide.

In the summer of 2020, InterVarsity created a new department for engaging with local churches and it was about that time that I was hired to be a Church Engagement Catalyst with a special emphasis on developing relationships with and resourcing Nazarene Churches to help reach every corner of every campus.

These four foundational values and strategies within InterVarsity provide ample common ground with the local church. And InterVarsity is providing a tremendous amount of resources in these four areas of emphasis FOR churches!
